Automated Crafting

This datapack allows you to take items from farms like gold, iron, and emerald farms and automatically convert them into the next recipe up.


Gold & Iron:
  Nuggets -> Ingots -> Blocks

Emeralds:
  Emeralds -> blocks

What you must have:
  Piston, Magma Block, One single stack of 9 items.

For this to work, you must have one entity of exactly 9 items such as gold nuggets stacked on top of a magma block. If you have 9 items not grouped into the same item entity, this will not work. If you have any less or more than 9 items in the item entity, this will not work.

It is recommended to clear the area after every stack since Minecraft physics can break item stacks quite frequently.

When you have this item entity on top of a magma block, you then need to press down onto the items with a piston head. This only works with a piston head pressing directly down. Sideways and up, will not work.

It is recommended to encase this area to prevent the items from flying out before they can be converted.
