I've noticed that there are a lot of different datapacks out there that let you craft your own ores. However, there is always one issue that is present with most of the ones I see: They're unbalanced. If you have fortune, you can craft an ore and then mine it to duplicate the mineral. This datapack exists to remedy that.

Any ores you can create require you to put in the max amount of material you can get with it, assuming you have Fortune III. This means that you can't use the ores to clone the material inside. Although this does mean that, most of the time, you are wasting the material, you are also making silk touch a little more useless, so I think it's a good balance.

Created using this website.

Every recipe is shapeless, so don't worry about mimicking the designs shown.
The current version of the datapack is designed with 1.19.2 in mind, and due to the new recipes, will most likely not work on any version prior to 1.17. Despite that, this datapack will most likely still work fine on versions between 1.17 and 1.19.2.
Every ore that has a deepslate version can be crafted by using deepslate instead of stone.

If you want to report a bug or suggest something, let me know in the comments.

no plans on working on snapshots as things can change, but I most likely will add it (and any other ores that might be added) when 1.17 releases
