Totems are important. However, totems are not craftable. I fixed this while still keeping minecaft a balanced game.
To craft it, you need 4 gold blocks, 2 emerald blocks, and a bell.
I chose the bell because it is rare, which is good for balancing purposes, and the fact that it looks like the nose on the totem.
