1. Diving Helmet... Respiration 20... should have been in the game in v1.13. explore the underwater areas easily.
2. Diving Boots... Depth Strider 10... run around speedily, underwater.
I made these things for my save game start a few years ago, I just renamed some items and added enchantments. When I was using the Shipwrecks mod, this was before v1.13 copied a lot of the Shipwrecks mods features, minus adding in a Diving Suit. Which I loved, from that mod.
They are a lot of fun to use, the diving helmet giving you lots of Air. Although I don't know if the enchantments are limited in levels, its been a while since I modded enchantments. Respiration also giving you better vision underwater.
Nightvision is good, but I dislike the constant swirly things it gives.
Diving boots is real fun, if you are walking underwater. You end up running around, at breakneck speed.
Just some ideas, I always love custom named drops. Which are usually pretty easy to make, although, I am not familiar with Data Pack making.
Maybe add as a rare loot chest drop as well.
Like I said, they are a lot of fun to use. When you make them, give them a go underwater, they open up the oceans for exploration.
And what more thing I add ?
Like what loot and to what mob?
The problem I have is using bows and crossbows underwater, there may be an enchant to fix that problem.
- Nemo's crossbow... no speedloss underwater, no drop off. ( don't know if possible )
- Nemo's eyes... nightvision on a Turtle helmet.
- Nemo's boots... Depth Strider
Various other handy items for exploring underwater.

- mending
- protection
- riptide on a higher level than normal
- aqua affinity
enchants on items, that don't normally get them. Of course, it has to be the right piece of armour for it to work, or weapon or tool.
