This pack changes the color of lava depending on the biome! This will dynamically change the color of lava depending on the biome.

This pack DOES require its resource pack to function

Isn't this possible without armor stands and resource packs with shader introduced in the infinite snapshot? I mean I know it's not the exact same but they did add support for that later on in the normal snapshots.

This is a great idea! Just a suggestion, but have you considered making the soul sand valley lava more blue-ish? idk for sure if that would look better but that's just an idea

Try making some of the lava colors a little bit more Closer to the original lava, so that transitions and Atmosphere doesn't drastically change, basically making warped forest Lava more orange-y and things like that

idk i feel like it kinda makes sense for the lava around the warped forest to look unnatural, since the whole area appears to have been tampered with (or "warped") by the endermen. the forest already looks really bizarre next to the rest of the nether, which i think is kind of the point

Sure it is a datapack? The main feature of this datapack is the resource pack? It doesn't make really sense. You should remove this content from here and publish it in resource pack and say it needs a datapack to work. It's like asking "Do you want pasta with tomato sauce?" and then give a plate with a bit of pasta and fill the plate with tomato souce. The main thing should be pasta.
I mean, the main thing of this datapack is the resource pack. It is not "The datapack requires resource pack" but in this case that it the opposite. It is "The resource pack needs the datapack".
Please correct me if I'm not right. For now I didn't report this '''datapack''''

Thanks

I believe I understand your position. In effect, the main thing this pack does is change the textues of lava depending on the biome, and there is not much "to do" with this pack because of that. This pack was actually a lot more difficult to make than I expected. I thought I could do something similar to water in the overworld and use colormaps, unfortuanately it wasn't that easy. In order for this pack to work I needed to scan the surrounding blocks and select suface lava, determine the biome, create an armorstand, change it's head, give it a custom model, etc. That is why I portray this as a datapack, even though it only looks like a texture change, it actually has a ton of behind the scenes work.

Thanks!

I've just studied your datapack, it could be called datapack.

The main thing is that the color changes depending on the biome. The texture pack just provides the textures :/

Is this different from what you were expecting? What were you looking forward to?
