Blast++ is a Recipe Datapack that allows the player to smelt the following blocks through the Blast Furnace Block
  • All Terracotta Blocks > Glazed Terracotta
  • Clay Block > Terracotta
  • Sand > Glass
  • Cobblestone > Stone
  • Stone > Smooth Stone
  • Clay Ball > Brick
  • Netherrack > Nether Brick
  • All brick variants > Cracked
  • Quartz > Smooth Quartz
  • Cobbled Deepslate > Deepslate
  • Basalt > Smooth Basalt
  • Deepslate Tiles > Cracked
  • Bonus: Chorus Fruit > Popped Chorus (inside smoker instead of blast furnace)

I thought the Blast Furnace had so much potential wasted, so I decided to add more items from the regular furnace; especially glass and stone.
Any suggestions for more blocks that would make sense to be smelted through the Blast Furnace, feel free to comment them!

I used this data pack on a 1.16.5 server and the server crashed. I assumed it would work seeing as in the description at the bottom it mentions it's compatible from 1.16 to 1.17.

Was this the only datapack you put in? Was the server running normally before you put the datapack? I really don't know what the problem is. You can join the discord server if you want to see the problem

I knew I seen this datapack and I use blast furnace alot so I am so happy that I found it thank you so much for making this I dont mind that you forgot some things!

Would it be possible to smelt items, such as an iron sword, down into nuggets/ingots in the blast furnace? I could see this being useful when recycling old equipment or getting a return off of equipment you've worn down but don't feel like using completely.

I completely forgot that this exists in a normal furnace. I wonder why/how I missed it while going through all the furnace related recipes. Great idea!
