Bug Net is a small datapack that allows you to capture and release mobs through the use of the Bug Net, a new item crafted with 3 string, a copper ingot, and a stick. Right-clicking a mob with the Bug Net picks them up and afterward they can be placed back down. By right-clicking another mob with a full Bug Net you can stack them on top of each other!

Using the Bug Net brings limitless possibilities and the pack is highly configurable! Run the command: /function bugnet:commands/gamerules to bring up the gamerules menu and modify what mobs can and can't be picked up. Want to modify even more? Check out the wiki to find a tutorial on how to edit more directly what mobs can and cannot be picked up!

please add to capture players and big mobs such as ender dragon and warden,iron golem and release it for 1.20.2

Ragtime Gal I am having an issue in which I get yelled at "You are using Bug Net on the incorrect Minecraft version. You should be using Minecraft 1.20.2."

However, 1.20.2 is not out yet, maybe it's a typo. Is it possible to correct that ? Can you confirm the datapack is compatible with 1.20.1 ?

I love this datapack, it's working in 1.19 but in 1.20 i can't catch nothing. I would appreciate if this gets updated :)

I started my server with the datapack and all the players kept receiving the item, I had to remove the datapack, is it a bug?

You likely have a give all recipes datapack. That will break this pack due to incompatibility. Removing the give all recipes pack will fix the issue.
