Introduction

Another datapack that I create for my let's play series. It allows you to create all the potions (including some uncraftable) in the cauldron. Yes, sure, you can use the brewing stand, but as of now (just after snapshot 20w16a released and playing in 1.14.4) you cannot edit the brewing stand recipes.

How To

Fill a cauldron to full, it will not work with anything other than level 3 of a watered cauldron. Once done, throw inside the cauldron:

• 1 Glass Bottle
• 1 Nether Wart
• 1 Blaze Powder
• 1 POTION RELATED REAGENT
• 1 Glowstone DUST (For Rank 2)
• 1 Redstone DUST (For Extended)
• 1 Diamond (For... ???)

You will then receive 1 potion.

PLEASE NOTE: THE LIST IS IN ASCENDING ORDER OF WHICH YOU SHOULD THROW INGREDIENTS IN TO GET THE DESIRED POTION EFFECT, EXAMPLE:

If you want a haste potion, that's rank 2 and extended you MUST throw in the ingredients in this order:

• Redstone Dust
• Glowstone Dust
• Iron Ingot
• Blaze Powder
• Nether Wart
• Glass Bottle

I had trouble with the items being in the correct execution order, so to get the best potion for your items, ALWAYS throw them into the cauldron ASCENDING from the above FIRST list.

So yes this is important, due to the way I've required you to use blaze powder in the cauldron some reagents had to be changed. The following spoiler will give you all the reagents and their respective potions:

Important Information

This datapack is NOT compatible with my other datapack: "c87's - Create Haste Potions" as it's a direct upgrade to it. I haven't tested what would happen if you had them both but I suspect they will error out as a conflict or may give two haste potions. Either way, please remove one before installing the other.

Issues

• No large bugs
  
• Please read the important note at the bottom of the HOW TO section as this pertains to correct way of dropping in items.
• The datapack will check every 1 second for the items, if you have any magnet datapack or mods then be sure to turn them off as it make conflict with being able to keep items on the ground.
• The NEAREST player to the cauldron will get the potions, generally speaking in single player and 99.9% of multiplayer settings this will not be an issue.
