Hello everyone !
It's been a while.
Today, I come with a little datapack that someone has been asking me for his youtube channel:
A CompassTracker !
This datapack is not that technical one but at least, it is a special one that you can use to spicy up the gameplay with your friends.
For example, one person will have to face 2/3 people until she manages to kill the enderdragon, by that, the "hunters" will have a compass which will guides them to the prey (Its a concept taken from Dream's channel) !
How it works ?
It's pretty simple. All you need to know is that there are two types of player: a target, and a non-target.
Target players are players who recieved a tag in game that enables the non-target players to track them with a CompassTracker.
So, how do I give this tag to a player ?
Just type
You can remove the tag by executing this command:
And for the CompassTracker ?
Enter this command to recieve it.
When you have the CompassTracker in you mainhand (and only if), the nearest target will be tracked automatically !
Beware: even if custom dimensions are supported, there is a risk of griefing.

Ok boys! time to leave!
(lol)
To fix these bugs, i would like to ask you some questions. They will help me to figure out what is wrong woth the datapack. So, here there are:
- in which dimension are you when you're using the compass ?
- And where is the target when you're trackig it ?
- When there is a target near by, does the compass activate itself ?
- When you want to check the compass, are you helding it in your mainhand ?
Tbh, i tested the datapack with my friends and it worked perfectly. I'm very surprised it was not the case for you. By that, I'm sorry to hear that and i will do my best to solve the problem (if there is one).
Cordially, Jeff Wooden.
