Chainmail has about the same protection as gold, but more durability. Meant as a more accessible armor due to lower resource requirement.

Chainmail armor can be crafted from iron nuggets.
Chainmail armor can be smelted back into one iron nugget (already in the game).
Recipes unlocked by having an iron ingot or nugget in inventory.
