In vanilla you can add the flame enchantment to a crossbow using an anvil but it won't do anything. Now it does. A crossbow with the flame enchant will shoot flaming arrows just like a bow.

Works for arrows and spectral arrows. Does not affect rockets (but maybe in the future, flaming explosions?).
