ThePullerCell's Custom Minecarts

This is my first public data-pack! This datapack adds 49 new types of custom minecarts, which can be obtained by renaming the existing minecarts. Two types of random minecarts are also added. They are also purely cosmetic.

The reason the two random minecarts are command blocks is for survival balance.

Compatibility and Technical Details

This data pack was only tested in 1.21.5, and it was not tested to work on servers. Use on servers at your own risk. It probably works with all 1.21 versions.

The way it displays these custom minecarts with no resource pack, is by using NBT data. When a minecart with a matching name and type is detected, it spawns a replacement minecart that has the DisplayState NBT data changed to display the desired block. The original minecart is killed.

For random minecarts, it uses the random command to roll a random number and summon a random minecart based on the number. The regular random minecart has 27 outcomes, and the complete random minecart has 55 outcomes. It is possible to create countless combinations of minecarts this way.
