Curse Stages
- Level 1
- At this stage, the player becomes infected when entering the Deep Dark biome.
- After that, it will have almost no hallucinations of the Deep Dark, even after leaving there.
- At this stage, the player becomes infected when entering the Deep Dark biome.
- Level 2
- Here, you get more infected by obtaining an Echo Shard.
- The effects of the hallucination become more frequent, but at the same intensity as the previous level.
- Here, you get more infected by obtaining an Echo Shard.
- Level 3
- Now, the player needs to be chased by the Warden to get this infection.
- And the effects of the hallucination become even more frequent and more intense.
- Now, the player needs to be chased by the Warden to get this infection.
- Level 4
- This one is achieved by having the audacity to hit the Warden!
- This is the highest level, with the effects of the hallucination happening almost all the time and taking a long time to end.
- To get rid of the curse you must defeat the Warden.
- This one is achieved by having the audacity to hit the Warden!

There are four stages of curse. Each of them with more effects according to their level.
The player is infected with the first stage upon entering the Deep Dark biome;
The second stage is acquired by obtaining an Echo Shard;
To be infected with stage three, the player needs to be chased by the Warden.
And the last stage is achieved by having the audacity to hit them!
To get rid of the curse you must defeat the Warden.

I think this adds more risk to the rewards of the deep dark and its ancient cities but not just that it also adds a more terrifying factor to it..
I havent tested it myself but from what I read it sounds perfect..
Im gonna test it out in a bit.. ^u^
