‎ ‎ Diving Minecraft Data Pack
              ‎ Datapack
         ‎ 1.21.2+

Di
ving
is a Datapack for 1.21.2+ that changes the diving system by adding water pression and diving equipment.

The Datapack adds the water pressure and new items for diving and a new special enchantment :

Items
🌊 Seaglide Diving Minecraft Data Pack

Allows to move for faster underwater, gives Night Vision effect when we are underwater and can indicate where is the water surface with particles (particles for only in 1.214+). Inspired by Subnautica.
Crafted with 6 Iron Ingots, 1 Iron Nugget to the left center, 1 Glowstone Dust above and 1 Redstone Dust to the right center.

🎈 Floater Diving Minecraft Data Pack

Allows when you do right click for 1,75 seconds to bloat the Floater and then you are automaticaly propulsed to the surface and if the item is thown in water it automaticaly propulsed ti the surface too, you can re do a right click but for 0,5 second to unbloat the Floater to "disable" it. Inspired by Subnautica (but with another name instead of Air Bladder).
Crafted with 1 Resign Brick in the center, 3 Resin Clumps to the left verticaly and 3 Resin Clumps to the right verticaly (Quartz instead of Resin Brick and Slime Balls instead of Resin Clumps in 1.21.2-1.21.3).

🤿 Diving Mask

You can put it on your head and can breath underwater more longer than without the Diving Mask, that allows you to mine more faster blocks when submerged underwater, you are a bit protected from water pressure and you can go a bit more deeper underwater without taking water pressure damages. You can enchant it with Respiration, Aqua Affinity and the new enchant Water Pressure Protection.
Crafted with 2 Glass Panes horizontaly and 2 Resin Bricks above, 3 Bamboos to the right verticaly with the 3rd to the bottom center (Black Dyes instead of Resin Bricks in 1.21.2-1.21.3).

🏊‍♂️ Diving Fins
You can put it on your feet and can swim more faster than without the Diving Fins, it gives Dolphin Grace effect too when you move underwater, it slows you a bit on the surface. You can enchant it with Depth Strider and Water Pressure Protection.
Crafted in boots craft shape with 2 Resin Bricks above and 2 Resin Clumps to the bottom (Black Dyes instead of Resin Bricks and Slime Balls instead of Resin Clumps in 1.21.2-1.21.3).

🧯 Air Tank

You can put it on your chest and can breath a lot more than without the Air Tank only if you have the Diving Mask on your head too, otherwise you can't breath more longer with the Air Tank, but your increased swimming speed is decreased and you fall more faster than without the Air Tank, it slows you a lot too on the surface, and you have to sneak to jump over the blocks, because Air Tank makes you jump less higher.
Crafted with 2 Iron Blocks to the left bottom a,d 2 Iron Blocks to the right bottom, 2 Glass Bottle between Iron Blocks, 1 Bamboo above the Glass Bottles and 2 Resin Bricks next to the Bamboo (Black Dyes instead of Resin Bricks in 1.21.2-1.21.3).
Enchantment
🔩 Water Pressure Protection

This enchantment protects you from the water pressure, like the Protection enchantment but only for Water Pressure damages, you can also but an armor to protect you from water pressure (not necessary diving equipment) and put the enchantment.
If you have Conduit Power effect you don't take any Water Pressure damage so you don't need the enchantment with this effect.

Information about features and textures for certain versions
Only in 1.21.4+ the Seaglide can indicate the water surface.

In 1.21.2-1.21.3 the resin doesn't exist so for the recipes the Resin Clump in replaced by Slime Ball and the Resin Brick is replaced by Black Dye, exept for Floater that uses Quartz instead of a Resin Brick.

You can use the required Texture Pack to have all the custom textures, but only in 1.21.4+ the Seaglide is animated when you move and have a different texture in the GUI, the Diving Mask on your head is in 3D and the animation when you use the Floater isn't glitched.

This has been very cool to try out.

Subnautica is my favorite game, and I'm currently working on improving ocean biomes in my worldgen datapack, so I love this.

I have noticed what appears to be some sort of bug. It seems that the seaglide and floater stop working properly after about 30 seconds. Reloading the world reactivates them for about that same length of time, and then they stop working again. Perhaps it is related to this bug report that spams the log: "Command execution stopped due to limit (executed 65536 commands)"

(Note: I am playing on the latest 1.21.5 pre-release that uses datapack version 71)

I did'nt see these bugs, but if it's an command limit you can with the gamerule maxCommandChainLength to increase the limit, but I don't think we can fix these bugs, but you can try to remove and reput Seaglide/Floater on your hand maybe to make them working again

This looks super cool! I want to try this out when I get home.

If you consider any updates to this, might I suggest adding different colors of masks, fins and air tanks by using different dye colors in the recipes alongside the resin.
