This is just a small datapack I made that adds a crafting recipe for every spawn egg. The recipes I added have given echo shard a viable use, as each recipe utilizes one echo shard, one egg, and one to two items that relate to the spawn egg you are trying to craft. This datapack also adds a recipe for the monster spawner, so the spawn eggs are not useless to craft. The recipe for the monster spawner consists of a nether star surrounded by echo shard, so the recipe is balanced for game progression.

To install the pack simply download the file, go into the creation screen for a new world, and drag it into the datapacks folder that can be accessed via the world creation screen.

This is a good pack for someone who wants to avoid the tedium of building certain farms without retracting from the core experience of Minecraft. Items that are typically acquired in a single or multiplayer world are used in all of the crafting recipes, as well as making use of several items that are infrequently used, such as the echo shard, making them especially useful and worth collecting.

IMPORTANT: The crafting pictured is shapeless, meaning that it does not have to be in the orientation shown to be crafted from the required ingredients. ALL of the spawn egg recipes can be crafted using the 2x2 crafting grid in the inventory.

I just think it's a neat way to use some rather underutilized crafting items. Needing an echo shard for every single egg and in some cases items that the monster itself drops to craft it is more conducive to late-game farm building I think - hence why the Nether Star is used to craft the monster spawner. If you have any balancing suggestions I am more than happy to take feedback if you think it will improve the pack. :)
