The dripstone caves datapack adds in dripstone caves that generate under ground. To install it place the zip file in the datapacks folder. The dripstone caves will generate automatically. The dripstone caves include dripstone blocks, pointed dripstone and water instead of lava.
Dripstone caves generate after vanilla cave generation, so the game generates the cave, then the datapack generates any Dripstone caves.
The datapack can be uninstalled after the dripstone caves generate and the already existing Dripstone caves will stay.
Designed for default world gen. may not work in other world types (superflat, amplified ,etc.).
If you can't find any dripstone caves you can use this command below Y level 50 to generate one: /function dripstonecaves:gen/main

Updated the datapack to work in 21w08b.
Dripstone caves are now more rare.
Dripstone caves now generate more like lush caves.
Pointed dripstones now generate less so you can walk around in the caves easier.
Added Pointed dripstones groups that generate pointed dripstones as common as they used to be.
Added Pointed dripstones groups that generate pointed dripstones as common as they used to be but can be twice as tall.
Added Pointed dripstones groups that generate pointed dripstones as common as they used to be but can be three times as tall.
The "water caves generate replacing lava caves" feature is back after being removed for the 21w07a update.
