EasyElytra is a simple datapack for Minecraft 1.14 which lets you craft elytra and rockets so you can get around your survival world as soon as you can craft them. Enjoy quick access to flight without needing to make it past the ender dragon!
This datapack is ideal for all of the survival players out there.
EasyElytra adds two new recipes that allows you to make elytra and rockets as you need them. Using the materials shown in this picture, you can even craft rockets in your basic 2x2 crafting menu.

For the elytra, you need:
- 2 Sticks, 2 Leather or Rabbit Hide, 2 Leads, 2 Shields, and a Leather Chestplate

I was alerted that the updated 1.1 datapack wasn't actually uploaded when I updated the page. Today I made sure that the updated file is on the page and that it downloads properly. Please take a moment to download the 1.1 update to take advantage of its content.

I realized that the repair recipes will only output an unenchanted elytra, I will work on fixing this so the enchantments are preserved, but could you specify whether you cannot use the recipe or whether you are experiencing this issue with unenchanting the elytra by repairing it, Thank you!
Sidenote, I am working on updating the pack so that it does not disenchant your elytra when you repair it but I am not there yet.
Wing suit = Leather... slow falling, with glide. + Leather Armour stats. Early game item.
Elytra = Membranes... Standard Elytra, long gliding.
You'd need to fight some Phantoms at night, without dying to the other mobs. So... you'd need to be in a safer area, and more planning would be needed, working out a way to kill the Phantoms without dying. Unless you are in full Diamond armour, that is enchanted. Or sporting a bow, and sniping from a safe area.
I would be happy to help debug if you can give me more to work with. Also, could you tell me whether the rocket recipe is working? 1 bamboo, 1 gunpowder, 1 string. That will help me isolate what might be happening.
Off the top of my head, the one thing which I have experienced problems with, and I dont really know why it happens, but sometimes .zip datapacks need to be opened and have their contents copy/pasted into the datapack folder, in their own folder of course. Open the zip folder, take the primary folder I have everything in and place that folder with all of its contents into your datapack folder. Let me know if that works? or get back to me with more details.
