Ore-cipe v1.1 is a simple datapack for Minecraft 1.14 that allows you to craft ore blocks should you ever need them. Many datapacks can utilize ore blocks in their recipes and when silktouch isn't available, wouldn't it be nice to just make the ores you need? Well that's possible as of now, with Ore-cipe.
Ore block recipes are simple and come in two forms; Metal Ores and Other Ores.
Metal Ores

Iron Ore: 8 Stone, 1 Iron Ingot
Gold Ore: 8 Stone, 1 Gold Ingoot
Pattern:
[S][S][S]
[S][ I ][S]
[S][S][S]

Other Ores

Coal Ore: 5 Stone, 4 Coal
Redstone Ore: 5 Stone, 4 Redstone
Lapis Ore: 5 Stone, 4 Lapis
Emerald Ore: 5 Stone, 4 Emeralds
Diamond Ore: 5 Stones, 4 Diamonds
Pattern:

[O][S][O]
[S][O][S]
The Ore should be blended evenly into the stone.

I was alerted that the updated 1.1 datapack for Ore-cipe wasn't actually uploaded when I updated the page a couple of weeks ago. Today I made sure that the updated pack is on the page and that it downloads properly. Please take a moment to download the 1.1 update to take advantage of its content.

I will figure something out and balance in the next update i put out.
I wanted to provide a balanced recipe and not a way to cheat the system. If I wanted to do that I could easily make a recipe that gives you 64 diamond blocks for 1 dirt, easy as pie. Balance is fun, broken is boring.
Additionally, consider someone adding this DP to their multiplayer server, It should be more costly than using a silk touch tool and mining diamond ore otherwise, what is the point at all of having silktouch. The value balance I feel is fair.
