Finally, you can take advantage of the custom teleportation feature of the end gateway!!

SERVER MODE!!
This mode disables triggers so people cannot make their own or destroy existing gateways. It still works for admins. Placed portals work for anyone.
The downloaded zip is just a modified version of the datapack. Use it like a normal datapack

How to make gateway:

1. Stand where you want the gateway to tp you to
2. Do /trigger setPos (/function egpt:setpos in server mode)
3. Go to where you want the gateway to be
4. Look STRAIGHT FORWARD in the direction of the block where you want the gateway to be (make sure the block is not occupied
5. Do /trigger spawnPortal (/function egpt:spawnportal in server mode)
6. Walk into it

Additional commands

Use /trigger deletePortal to delete any gateway. Make sure to look the same way you did in step 4 above.
Use /trigger makeSafeTp to make it so that if the target location is unsafe or blocked, the gateway will find a nearby free spot to tp you to. Look the same way as above

Cosmetic Beacon

This is for admin/cheat only. Do /function egpt:spawncosmeticbeam
It works like the spawnPortal command, except the beam of this gateway will keep going up and down
This gateway will not teleport anything. When removing, also use /kill @e[​type=interaction] (make sure no other datapacks use this first)

Notes/drawbacks

There is a hardcoded 2 second cooldown for the gateway (wait until the beam disappears)
You cannot disable the beam nor change the color, you cannot block it either. (It looks cool, but probably not for secret bases)
It works in the end, so be careful around natural end gateways. If you accidentally remove one, you can spawn it back.
