Minecraft sent out an email today saying, "Too bad you can't craft a scute pickaxe!"

So I made a scute pickaxe.



Scute Pickaxe adds a new craftable item to Minecraft. Its recipe is unlocked upon collecting armadillo scutes.

Scute Pickaxe:
  • Stats are identical to a Diamond Pickaxe (due to the email saying they are as hard as DIAMONDS).
  • When the pickaxe is being held in the player's main hand, they receive a +4 Armor Toughness buff.

This datapack is designed to be vanilla-friendly and is compatible with multiplayer.
