The new chase the skies drop is out and you try it out but the new happy ghast speed seems to be extremely slow at 3 blocks per second slower than a snail and feels useless then this datapack is for you. My faster happy ghasts datapack makes the happy ghast fly faster but still keeping it balanced at a speed of 11.7 blocks per second instead of 3 blocks per second, its much faster but still well balanced since elytra speed is 33.5 blocks per second on average so i wanted the happy ghast to fly at 1/3 the speed of an elytra which i think is accurate and well balanced making it a great choice for early game transportation or exploration before you get the elytra or if you dont have any firework rockets you can use the happy ghast now for some decent transportation or exploration if youre trying to find a pale garden or a mangrove swamp for example.
Who thinks its unbalanced then i want you to read this. With a riptide 3 trident and an elytra when its raining you can fly at a speed of up to 400 blocks per second. Faster than the chunks can even load.
