Adds a new weapon to the game called the Flail! (crafted with a blaze rod, a chain, and a wither skeleton skull) This weapon is similar to the Mace, but instead of moving vertically to increase damage, you move horizontally. This makes the weapon a bit tougher to use, but it's still fairly fun and rewarding IMO. It's not as horribly overpowered as the Mace either.



The Flail has one enchantment: Momentum. With Momentum, hitting a mob will grant Speed for 5 seconds. Momentum can go up to level 3, and will give the same level of Speed as its level.



Do note that this datapack is not multiplayer compatible. Due to the way it functions, if multiple players hold a Flail at the same time, the results will be unpredictable. It will hopefully work fine if only one player uses the Flail at a time, though. Any other datapackers who are smarter than me are free to make changes to the datapack to make it multiplayer compatible-and please message me about it if you do! I'd like to see an improved version.



Why the Flail is multiplayer incompatible (mostly for nerds who might want to patch it)
The Flail detects player motion by finding the difference in X and Z position from the last tick and adding it together to calculate speed. This value is then put into storage to use in a macro that adds the damage and knockback attributes to the player. Unfortunately, this method means the Flail must be using storage every tick. I don't know of any per-player storage methods that work where multiple players use the storage every single tick, so I don't know how to make the pack multiplayer compatible.
