    Minecraft v1.21 (June 14, 2024)

    While holding one of 4 custom fishing rod grappling hooks. Casting the bobber will teleport you where it lands. Fishing rod grappling hooks are named by colors (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) for use with multiplayer to prevent cross teleportation if used within 35 blocks of other players casting the Grappling Hooks within the same time frame.

    How To Get The Items

    Chat Commands
    /trigger grapple_red
    /trigger grapple_blue
    /trigger grapple_green
    /trigger grapple_yellow

    Can Also Rename A Fishing Rod At An Anvil With The Following Names
    Grapple Hook Red
    Grapple Hook Blue
    Grapple Hook Green
    Grapple Hook Yellow

    To Install
    Just place the *.zip file at \AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\*world*\datapacks\ don't extract them from the zip file (not needed).

    How To Use
    You will be teleported to wherever the bobber lands. The reason for multiple colors is that 4 people may choose to use a different color when using the grappling hooks within 35 blocks of each other to prevent cross-teleportation.

    i can get a fishing rod with a command but Teleport does not work at 1.16.1
    Do I need a setup other than throwing a bobber?

    You just need the bobber to land on the ground. Do you have any other data packs installed? It seems to still work for me in single player and on a server by myself.

    Correct, the colors won't change. The colors are more for the purpose of distinguishing between the 4 differences in the code. So a player will know that he can use a different fishing pole than his friend in close range next to each other.

    i can still fish and catch mobs but only for a few secends also nice hook

    It's not meant to be used as a normal fishing rod. I found oth that fishing rod based grappling hooks aren't meant to be used as fishing rods the hard way when I used the wrong item when fishing on Hypixel Skyblock. Needless to say, I felt pain lol

    Found out today that this datapack only has to be on the server host world. Any player that joins doesn't need to download these files to work. 100% server side pack!
