This data pack changes the majority of chest loot tables to improve what you get from them, and include items unobtainable in vanilla survival (such as custom players heads, banners not craftable in survival, and enchantments of higher levels).

It also comes with advancements to track the player heads, banners, and unique items you've collected. These advancements don't cover consumable items; like custom arrows and potions added by the data pack, or any of the unmodified items it also adds to loot tables.

Changes
  • Updated all player heads to 1.16 UUID format.
  • Added skeleton skulls to desert temples.
  • Added lanterns to mineshafts.
  • Added new projectiles to jungle temple dispensers.
  • Swapped out duplicate barrel player heads in shipwrecks for open barrel player heads.
  • Added 6 new player heads, 2 new banners, and 1 new unique item to Bastion loot.
  • Moved golden pig player head to Bastion loot.
  • Added new head to Nether Fortresses to replace golden pig player head.

I used the datapack, it actually caused all loot chests to be empty instead

Had my reservations, Shulkers in treasure? seems OP~! but then I started digging into the loot tables for myself and I really like what I am seeing. I absolutely love the new custom potions "Meal in a bottle" etc, and the enchanted gear all seems to be made with an eye towards balance (Unobtainable enchantments apparently paired with unrepeatable items, so as to make it impossible to put mending on them!) I'm really into what this could add to my server in terms of exploration! that and the custom heads and banners are great, exciting treasure that is inherently cosmetic and unable to impact gameplay is always nice.

I'm glad you like my choices for new loot, and I hope you and your server mates enjoy what Chest Loot Upgrade brings to your server! You're absolutely right about the choices I made; the powerful items are temporary, encouraging exploration to find more of them, while others enrich other gameplay (such as the banners and heads for building with). It can also be used as a scavenger hunt, with the advancements keeping track of all the different treasures you've found.

Does this not work with 1.15.2 anymore? If it does, how could i make it actually load properly. Asking because the custom heads in the chest aren't working.
