Grappsling (Grapple Sling) is a datapack that adds a grapple hook with semi-accurate physics.

The grapple hook will pull you until you are at a reasonable distance, then you will transition to swinging :D

HOW TO GET GRAPPLE HOOKS:
Run in chat with commands on: /function type:grapplehook

SHIFT TO CUT ROPE (DISCONNECT HOOK)

Enjoy the grappling hooks!

(Warning: while it works in multiplayer, you might disconnect other people's hooks when shifting.)

Added a recipe for the grappling hooks!




And removed position tracking armor stand and swapped it for /execute facing.

It should now mostly function in multiplayer correctly, except I can't figure out how to get the release working for the current player, and currently if you release from a hook/arrow, it will release the other players.
You also swing from the closest hook/arrow, meaning if two or more players get too close they could be swinging from the same one as each other.
