We've all killed a sheep in Minecraft before to get wool for a bed or build. But why kill when a much better alternative exists: shearing. It's one of those often overlooked game mechanics that really should get used more but just end up existing in the background.
As someone who likes sheep, I hence decided to create this simple mod/datapack.

With "HappySheep" installed, sheep will now display heart particles similar to newly tamed animals when sheared. There is now also a 20% chance of regenerating 8 HP (4 hearts) after shearing.
These features hopefully provide an extra incentive to be nice and spend the little time and resources required to craft shears.

Note: HappySheep is also available as a mod.
