How to install Minecraft Data Packs

"Yo, LanceTech, you think you could make Hardcore since you made that other data pack?"
"Doesn't Minecraft already have it?"
"Java does, but Bedrock doesn't. They won't make it for whatever reason for Bedrock and any pack on the Marketplace is kinda expensive. Could you make it for free?"
"Sure I don't see why not. It should take like 5 lines of code and 30 min."

*30 minutes later*

"Done. I'll share it over PMC. I made a separate resource pack that is literally just a copy of the hardcore assets from Java."
"Thanks."
"NP."

For using the pack on a mobile device, I would recommend unzipping the pack first to make it easier for the device to use. (Applies to both the Resource pack and Data pack.)

If you use the old 1.19.3 bedrock version, you first have to find the Minecraft folder on your device. If you go deeper into the files, you’ll find a folder that says “datapacks”. Put the zipper folder in there and also put an unzipped version in as well just in case. Then boot up Minecraft, and go to “Global Resources”. It should be activatable in there

I made it to work when it was still 1.19.3 on bedrock, but Minecraft updated recently so now I have to wait for the new pack type to be released so I can update the pack. Sorry bedrock folks

Both. for Bedrock itll be a little difficult to add it because of file locations but it should work for both
