This data pack makes it so that Netherite upgrades require 1 Netherite block instead of 1 Netherite ingot.
Netherite gear & tools retain their enchantments when upgrading with this change. This applies to all Netherite gear & tools.

Installation:

1) Download HarderNetherite.zip from Planet Minecraft.
2) Drop the folder named "HarderNetherite" found inside the HarderNetherite.zip into your datapacks folder.
3) Have fun!

WTF??
To get a single Netherite Ingot you need 3 Ancient Debris and 3 Gold Ingots.
To get 1 or 2 ancient debris you need to pick possibly 1 netherrack chunk
To get 9 each tool, you need to exploit 4-5 netherrack chunks.
its not more difficult, its just crazy.

4-5 chunks is nothing when you consider the life span of a long term server.

I spent a good 2hrs last night bed blast mining in the nether and have 25 ancient debris. It is not that hard to get a full set of netherite armor & gear when the upgrade requirement is 1 ingot.
