Overview
Welcome to Jurassicraft!
Jurassicraft is a Datapack loosely based on the Original JurassiCraft Mod first released in 2015, but in the convenient format of a Datapack along with much more content to explore.
This Datapack aims to expand upon Minecraft’s archelogy system and bring prehistoric content into your Minecraft world. This Datapack allows the player to find fossils to extract ancient dinosaur DNA to hatch their very own dinosaurs to roam their worlds.
Currently this Datapack includes 16 different dinosaurs, all with multiple variants resulting in 49 different dinosaurs to hatch and grow.
Along with a multitude of other features to work along side them and bring our worlds to life.
Guide
The best place to start your journey as a Archeologist is to get your hands on a brush, by holding a brush you will automatically unlock all the new Recipes.
You will need to construct the DNA Workbench to turn your fossils into Dinosaur Eggs and the Incubator to hatch them, both of these require a range of different materials.
To turn your Fossils into Dinosaur eggs you will need a Tadpole Bucket and a Turtle Egg so you might want to find a Ocean and Mangrove Forest to get a good supply of both.
Fossils are difficult to find so try and find biomes with lots of Sandstone, Dripstone, Tuff and Terracotta, like A desert, Dripstone Cave, Deepslate Caves and Mesas, which will have lots of the needed blocks for you to search through.
Dinosaurs will only age if a player is within 64 blocks of them so make sure to spend time around your dinosaurs if you want them to grow, or feed them with bundles of food to speed up their growth all together.

Long Answer, I am planning to update this pack as soon as possible, But because of the changes from 1.21.3 to 1.21.4 (and onwards), there will need to be a big redesign for pretty much everything, nothing on the gameplay side of things will change, just all the technical things behind the scenes will need to be reworked. I hope to get it done as soon as possible, I do appreciate your interest in the project and how to give people the best experience possible.
