    why do I just get the JSON for a compressed item instead of the properly parsed when I hover a compressed item?

    I've made fixes for this locally on my own machine, and added recipes for the blue and brown egg variants. Now that I know what the heck I'm doing, I may continue to add more food variants and add other options as well. Do you want these fixes, or do you have a repo I can merge with or anything?

    Where can I download older versions of this datapack or do I have to manually modify the files to be able to run this in 1.20.6? IDK what I'm doing when it comes to the more complicated datapacks but would love to learn the source code of datapacks I learned how to run functions through in game commands just by looking at someone elses work that way ;) I saw your modrinth page only has this out for the latest build of minecraft which if they push more updates that aren't snapshots for 1.22.X then it's safe to assume minecraft 1.21.4 is the latest build until they push more updates like how 1.19.6 & 1.18.2 are the latest builds of 1.19 & 1.18 respectively because they kept pushing bug patches among other things.

    Thank you for your interest, you're right. I need to release updates for the datapack to work in intermediate versions because changes are made in the code editor during interim updates. For example, in version 1.21.2, the location and code structure of custom recipes changed.

    This package is the simplest one I've written; you can easily understand it. The addition of custom item crafting and the auto crafter feature inspired me while creating it. If you're interested, you can develop the package to be compatible with the older versions you mentioned. Feel free to use the source codes as you wish.
