I made this datapack because a friend asked me to develop one for him so I did and im uploading it here



This DataPack includes

Custom GUI for a Custom crafter

A light saber

and thats all that is added in 1.0

more will come in newer updates

to expand on this even more, in the future you could maybe add some other weapons relating to Star Wars or even the force. I think that would be pretty cool.

Wow, it's no small achievement to make a custom crafter with such a smoothly working GUI and everything! Good job!

Only suggestion, as nahte suggested, is to use a resource pack to make it look even better!

You can use the CustomModelData tag in the nbt of the item (must be set to a numeric value, no string values), and then you can use a resource pack to apply that to the item that has the CustomModelData

If you have problems doing that, feel free to check how it's done in many of my data packs.

you should probably make the texture of it actually look like a light-saber via a texture pack. But, I respect you making the recipe an actual challenge so good job on it.
