How it works
- Detect placement: An advancement fires whenever a player places a lodestone, then resets itself so it can fire again.- Find the block: A function steps forward from the player's eyes in small increments until it hits the lodestone.- Create the waypoint: It summons an invisible, invulnerable marker armor stand at the center of that lodestone. The stand has the `waypoint_transmit_range` attribute, so it appears on the locator bar.- Style it: The waypoint is colored cyan, and a chime plays.- Avoid duplicates: No new stand is created if one already exists at that spot.- Clean up: Every second, a loop checks each waypoint stand. If its lodestone is gone, the stand is removed.- Auto start: The `load` function creates the scoreboard and starts the cleanup loop when the datapack loads or reloads.
