Lunar Events adds naturally occurring events that can occur during the night! You can customize this data pack to your preference!

Blood Moon
Blood Moons have a chance to happen on the 7th night of your world...

Lunar Events Minecraft Data Pack

During a Blood Moon,most hostile mobs such as zombies or skeletons will be buffed and mobs that originally spawn under certain conditions such as the phantoms will be able to spawn this night! You cannot sleep, so beware.

Droplets of blood will rain from the sky and from time to time you will hear screams coming from the darkness. When below 8 HP, you will hear your heart thumping ...

Festival Night
Festival nights are unique and special events that have a chance to take place on every 7th night of your world...

Lunar Events Minecraft Data Pack


Pay attention to the sky during this night...Fireworks will go off and green sparkles will lighten up the dark night...You can even hear the sparkling from time to time...



During this night,crop growth rate is three times as fast and glow squids + axolotls will be able to spawn on the surface of your world!
Mining diamonds will give you twice the amount and surprisingly, evil creatures will not attack you! Iron golems and villagers become friends with monsters this night!

Nether Moon
Nether Moons have a chance to happen and are different from the other events!



During this night,all nether mobs will replace the hostile over world mobs and raid your world. You cannot sleep this night, so be prepared!
Do make sure you are not surrounded by darkness...


Configuration
You can toggle events on and off to your personal preferences!
Use the command /function lunarevents:config 



You can also toggle whether announcements are shown in chat or title - Or both!
Use the command /trigger announcements



You can see the current event that is occurring
Use the command /trigger currentevent

How to install
1)Download the data pack

The red vignette effect on your screen wont go away after the blood moon event is gone, how do you fix this? It's really annoying

Can you also release this datapack as a mod on Modrinth? Accordingly to the author of Stardew Valley datapack Modrinth actually offers datapack authors to release their pack on "mod version" automatically. If not, Lunar Eclipse released a guide to how to make it manually - it just a matter of rename the extension from .zip to .jar and add fabric.mod.json for this to be recognized as a mod by Fabric/Quilt.
