Not a bad idea i was also thinking by makimg an datapack that adds a recipe for miners helment i designed that it will need 1 lantern and 1 gold helmet ( ONLY GOLDEN HELMENT EXCLUSIVE TO MAKE GOLD HELMET USEFUL) BUT you're such a good man you make this more easier ;)
