Minecraft Compass Player Tracking System

FEATURES

• track other players using compasses
• every player can track a different player
• works across all three dimensions
• get notified when the player switches dimensions

HOW TO USE

After adding the datapack to your world, enter
/trigger ctr.select
to pick a player from the list, click it and enter the number (ID) in f ront of it's name. The command will look like this:
/trigger ctr.selected set [​ID]
now grab a compass and place it in your hotbar. It will show in the direction of the selected player.

To uninstall, use the function /function ctr:general/uninstall
Planet minecraft might rename the filename, so you will have to disable the datapack manually on your own afterwards.

Why did you make this?

Well, there are a lot of other packs out there that promise to do the same thing, but they either

• use the world spawn to move the compass
• don't work on multiple players/dimensions
• simply don't work on the latest version
• are way too overloaded with other content additionally that I didn't need or are too intrusive into the gameplay
