1.16.5 only yet might work on up to 1.19 if you change the file "pack.mcmeta". I am yet to create a version for 1.20+ due to the new command system introduced which I am yet to fully learn, once I learn it I will be making a 1.20+ version.

    What does this datapack do?
This datapack adds merchants to the game, you can meet them simply by renaming villagers via nametags.

What do I need to do in order to meet a merchant?
If you fancy buying items you need to find a villager and name him "Buy Merchant"; if you fancy selling items you shall rename a villager to "Sell Merchant".

What can I get and sell?
You can get and sell: Coal, Redstone, Iron, Gold, Lapis, Emeralds, Diamonds, Wheat, Potatoes and Carrots.

Is there a bank which will keep my money safe?
Yes, you can deposit and withdraw your money by using "/trigger withdraw" or "/trigger deposit"; if you wish to withdraw/deposit a specific amount of money you must add "set [amount of money]", e.g. "/trigger deposit set 25" will deposit 25 coins into your bank account as long as you have them in your inventory.

Can I lock the merchants in my basement and will they shut up?
Yes! The merchants do not make any noise including when trapped in your basement, this ensures great sleep.

    Is this datapack multiplayer friendly?
I tried making it as multiplayer friendly as possible yet unfortunately I do not have any friends to test this with, if you find any problems with multiplayer please report them in the comments.

What shall I do if I find bugs?
Please report them in the comments and I will do my best to fix them.

Is there anything unclear in the instructions or something you would like to know about this datapack was made? Ask away, I will do my best to answer your questions.
