Monument Tridents

Have you ever thought that the way you obtained tridents in minecraft was kinda lame? Just killing drowned over and over doesn't seem like the right way to obtain such a powerful item!

With this datapack, every elder guardian drops a trident shard. Throw three trident shards and two sticks together and BOOM! You have a trident. This also makes the ocean monument more interesting and a place you want to go.
Drowned also no longer drop their tridents.

The resource pack is required for the texture of the trident shard (no optifine required).

It is encouraged to play this datapack together with Technodono's Elder guardian boss and is compatible, which is why the elder guardian also drops a heart of the sea (in this pack). Just make sure to give my datapack priority.
