This datapack is not fully complete.
Currently, there is only 1 pokémon with a shiny version and a normal version.

Pokémon
As of right now, Psyduck is the only Pokémon.
It can spawn naturally, and if you have a pokéball on hand, you can catch it and throw him out.
He will also follow you on your adventure.
No battle system is available, yet though. Expect frequent updates.

Items
In order to catch Pokémon, you need a Pokéball!
In order to craft one, you first need an Iron Ball, you can craft it like this;
Now you can craft your Pokéball!
Simple craft it like this;
To catch a Pokémon, simply press Q while holding the item to throw it at the pokemon.

so i would like to give some positive feedback and improvements
1st i love the recipes and the psyducks though have you made catching as a function cause i followed your steps but i dont seem to interact with the pokemon at all
2nd if you could making the pokeball a bit rounder would be awsome though the design you have rn is good
3rd i dont really know what can you add with a datapack but if its possible having psyduck as another mob would be better instead of the wandering trader
and as i said in my other comment you are doing a great job
in which biome psyducks spawn ive searched plains rivers savanahs and deserts and didnt find any
also i cant seem to get the resource pack working do have any solutions? the pokeball shows as a paper and the iron ball as a prismarine crystal
but despite that i cant wait for charmander and squirtle to be added good job
If the Psyduck still wont spawn, try running /function main:spawn/normal/psyduck
If that doesn't work try looking in your datapack folder to see if you installed it correctly.
