Proximity Lamp adds functionalities to manage redstone lamp, candles, copper bulbs and campfires.
Not working on server?
"optimized" server like paper, spiggot and others, "optimization" plugin as well, can break the datapack preventing entities to have scoreboards and tags. Try with a solo world to identify this problem: it should works. Then, try enabling it on server somehow (depends on the server type).
An exception is made for video, image, sound, blog, and any other media that would share the project. If the purpose of the content is sharing, the content creator may monetize the content. Content creators must simply give appropriate credit and provide a link to the original work.
announcement BUKKIT is unsupported by this datapack. It seems to have troubles with "dropping item advancement", that are unfortunately required for this pack.
Procedure
- Place a lightable block (redstone lamp, candle, copper bulb or campfire)
- Throw material on it
Materials
- Redstone: proximity toggle. Level 1 to 5, tweak distance detection.
- Quartz: night mode. Only enable at night.
- Redstone + Quartz: proximity toggle, only at night.
- Glowstone: permanent lit. Alternative to redstone power.
- White Wool: toggle sound when enabling light.
- Bonemeal: decrease redstone proximity level. Finaly destroy it.
