    Quantum forge is a datapack that introduces new technology into minecraft! Explore the world of quantum minecraft with a new structure, new armor trim, and many new items.


    I saw the theme image and obviously my first thought was futuristic technology. So I brainstormed what could be futuristic, and I thought, "what about quantum stuff?" So I came up with a few ideas for quantum related items but I was only really able to implement 2 of them with the time I had, and I added some other stuff like the structure and armor trim. I might end up updating this pack in the future if it does well. Thanks for reading!


    Items added:
      - Circuitry Smithing Template
      - Several Quantum Warp Cores
      - Quantum Manipulator

     
    The Laboratory can be found near Y=0, and in it holds clues to recipes and powerful loot.


    Quantum Warp Cores are instant consumable items that let you teleport to another dimension. They give you resistance 3 for a few seconds when teleporting to another dimension, and have a 10 second cooldown. Once used, they give an empty warp core that can be recrafted into another warp core.


    The Quantum Manipulator is an item that lets you make blocks temporarily ghost blocks. Hold right click and select blocks and release to make them ghost blocks. Only 35 blocks can be manipulated at once.

    i like it, but the stones right by the pressure plate keeps making me think that there supposed to be redstone doors

    That's just a thing with the generation of the structure that I'm not sure how to fix since this is my first time working with jigsaw structures. I'm glad you like the pack though!

    I, personally, like the new structure. It's fun to explore the different rooms and wonder what kind of things they were experimenting on. This may be just me, but the lack of hostile mobs did make the diamond chestplate I found inside feel undeserved. The Warp Cores are interesting and can be useful in applications where a standard portal would not suffice. However, the Quantum Manipulator wouldn't work, which was disappointing.

    Thanks for the feedback! I didn't realize the quantum manipulator didn't work since I finished the pack and submitted it the night before and stupidly forgot to test it in a new world to make sure everything worked. I'll update it when the jam finishes to make the manipulator work!
