Well, this datapack fixes just that!
Raw Food Poisoning:
- Different foods have different "severity levels."
- You will not always get negative effects.
- The more severe the food is, the higher the chance you have to get negative effects from it.
- Most meats will only give nausea and hunger (chicken also gives poison).
- Most fish will only give nausea (pufferfish gives nausea, poison, hunger, and instant damage).
- Rotten flesh, spider eyes, and poisonous potatoes will give nausea, poison, hunger, and instant damage.
- Easy config files allow customizability!
Have fun.. or don't.

Configuration and Severity Update! : by Pigeon1H 04/10/2020 4:24:26 amApr 10th, 2020
In the most recent update, I have added easy configuration files. These config files are used to edit the severity of different raw foods.
On the topic of food severity, different foods can give different level effects: these effects are nausea, hunger, poison, and instant damage. Each severity level includes the previous ones (though this can be changed with config files). Meats only give nausea and hunger (while chicken gives poison) and fish only give nausea (except pufferfish, which gives all levels of severity).
I have also updated to the datapack to 1.15. However, it cannot be used in 1.14 or before. This is because it uses predicates for random chance instead of loot tables.
