Recinber's Expanded Biomes: Lite aims to alter the vanilla overworld biomes that have been missing a bit of love since their most recent changes.

This is the first of three iterations on the Expanded biomes series, and if you are reading this, it is the only one that has been publicly released so far.

    Changes

Nearly every single overworld biome has been changed, barring any ocean type biomes, nether or end dimension biomes, and rivers, sunflower plains, and flower forests.

    Installation Instructions
    1. Download the datapack and press the arrow next to the file that appears at the bottom of your browser. Click “Show in folder/finder.”
    2. From the Minecraft title screen, click Singleplayer, and name the world whatever you would like.
    3. Click the “Data Packs” button, then open the folder that the data pack was downloaded to.
    4. Drag the .zip file over the Minecraft window, and let go.
    5. This will prompt you with a screen asking you if you would like to add the data pack, click “yes.”
    6. Then hover over the data pack as it appears under the “Available” column and click on the right arrow.
    7. This will put the data pack on the right column. Once this happens, click “Done.”
    8. Once the loading is complete, click “Create World.”
    9. You will be prompted with a screen that mentions the fact that custom world generation is not yet in its final stage, click “Proceed.”
    10. You should find yourself in an altered world; you may delete the original zip file if you would like, as a copy of it has been added to your world folder.

    Compatibility

It should be noted that Recinber’s Expanded Biomes: Lite may not work alongside world altering mods or data packs that alter existing biomes. However, it should be compatible with data packs that simply add new biomes. Additionally, there should be few to no compatibility concerns with data packs or mods that only alter The Nether and/or The End.

Additionally, in my experience, it is not highly recommended to use REB: Lite alongside Minecraft Plus by -BlockHead- unless you are using shaders; this is because M+ changes andesite -- a resource very commonly found in mountain biomes -- into a glowing crystal (using emissive textures) which can, at least for me, make mountain biomes unplayable.

    Permissions

You are permitted to -- obviously -- use this on your own time. Use in a public setting (e.g. a public event, stream, or YouTube video) is allowed as long as a link to the Planet Minecraft page is included, reference to the author is also appreciated. Additionally, use in a modpack or data pack “pack” is perfectly fine as long as reference is given when listing every data pack and/or mod included. Recommendations and publicity is appreciated!

Known Bugs/Issues (Please Report any you find)
    • Color formatting of text on the data pack select screen broken
    • Occasionally the game will crash on startup for an unknown reason

Please leave feedback in the comments! Anything would be greatly appreciated!
