Welcome to the RPG BOOKS Data Pack.
This allows you get Recipe Books and LEVEL 1 thru LEVEL 5 Enchanted Items from
various Minecraft Chest Loot.
It can be a great tool for adventure map makers who want to create a randomness challenge to unlock crafting recipes.
As a map maker if you want to use this simply do
1) do the command: loot give @p rpgbooks:book_loot
or,
2)summon in Chests as a Reward that includes the rpgbooks:book_loot as
its loot table to pull from.
So far the following the loot tables have been created:
"book_loot" (this is the overall loot table that taps into ALL the loot tables
in this datapack.
crafting - contains ALL crafting table blocks.
crafting_blocks - contains recipes to create various blocks used in crafting.
(like wooden planks, or cobblestone, ect… ect..)
enchanted a , enchanted b , ….. …. …. enchanted s
All enchants have been added. These loot tables give enchantment books with
higher and higher levels of enchants on the books.
CLASS F is the lowest level.. CLASS S is the highest LEVEL.
ClASS V was created and could be used as a vote reward on servers.
RECIPES A Thru Z
All recipes have been added to the loot table "recipes_loot"
current as of MC version 1.15.2
tools
Contains any and all tool related recipes. makes it easier to hand out
shovels & pickaxes as a reward.
weapons & armor
Contains and all recipes regaring weapons and armor such as arrows, swords, banners, crossbows.. ect... ect...
UPDATE Feb 9th, 2020:
All recipes have been added in as of today. Over the next few weeks i plan to update Vanilla Loot Tables to include
Random Recipe books as rewards from various vanilla loot.
NOTE:
This is really just a small bit of coding from the larger LPS game i've been working on for the past few months.
But i decided to release this as something serperate cause i'd like to turn this into its own adventure map challenge thing at some point.
