The Signal Strength Setter Datapack allows you to easily change the contents inside containers and other special blocks in game in order to get different signal strength levels from them for your redstone contraptions.

Use:
/trigger ss set X
to set the container block you're looking at to output signal strength level X.

Use:
/trigger ssmenu
to access the clickable menu.

It affects specific blocks up to ~10 blocks away from the player and works in multi-player.

Details:

Besides the usual containers it also works with less used blocks such as lecterns, jukeboxes, respawn anchor blocks, etc. When aiming at a valid container the path to target will ignore a few blocks on the way such as redstone torches, repeaters, redstone dust, fluids, etc.

Items from containers are automatically destroyed when the container is destroyed for convenience (no need to change /gamerule doTileDrops)

Final note

I recommend watching the showcase video for a full demonstration of how to use the data pack's basic functionality as well as some cool ideas and uses for it. You can leave your suggestions and/or requests below on this page or just join us on Discord.
