To be honest, I thin Dog in Minecraft is a little bit weak. So I decided to make datapack to buff dogs and make Minecraft more balanced.
Feed your dog a Enchanted Golden Apple to buff it.
If it does not work for you. Try change you Language to English. You can change it back after you gave the apple the your dog. I will try fix the bug.

/scoreboard players add @e[type=minecraft:wolf] poof1 1
