using /function filltool:filltool, you can make a /fill command that is contained within your structure.
(kind of difficult to explain but I think that makes sense^)
To select the block you want to fill the structure with you simply have to look at it, facing straight down, or straight up at it, the selector is very inaccurate if you try and look at it facing forward for some reason...
Also, there is NO LIMIT to how big the fill command range can be, to stop the command, either run /function filltool:stopfill or /kill @e[type=marker], depending on your preference, would def recommend the function command if playing with other datapacks.

Obviously if it works, and you want to change the wet sponges to a block you're using in a build, then replace "air" with said block.
