Want to share your love to your pals on your multiplayer world (and now in singleplayer worlds!!)? Then this pack is for you!
With this pack, when you sneak (press shift) near another player or named mob within 1 block, love hearts will appear around them!

This is also toggleable with /trigger loving which can be used to stop yourself accidentally loving the wrong people.
Pack can be uninstalled using /function love:uninstall and removing the pack from the datapack folder

This pack also includes a Guide in the Advancements menu if you forget!

Original pack by alleria, rewritten (with permission) from the ground up by me, with references to her code.

Made some optimisations and snipped unnecessary code to make the whole thing a smidge less laggy

No other changes, may give a warning if used on 1.17-1.18 but should work fine

First of all, great datapack! I love it. I have a suggestion though: Could you make it not work with spectator players? if you sneak next to a spectator, the hearts still appear. On my server this can be an issue when checking on people and you dont want them to see you. If they sneak while you teleport they get the particles.

Awesome, glad you're enjoying it :D Have just pushed an update with this fix/feature! Never considered spectator mode players originally, thanks for the suggestion

Idea: Add an advancement after first or x amount of love, named "Can you imagine the smell?"

Can you make it for single-player world where you can share your love with all mobs(including hostile/neutral)

I’m working on an update that allows nametagged mobs to be loved, I don’t think hostile mobs make much sense though
