Terrain Changing Spells

Thunder Spells

Inspired by MCMMO and Fire Emblem, this leveling system is ushering in the Minecraft's New Dawn of RPG Systems!

Still in active development to this day! Stay tuned for the next big update! And report any bugs you see!
If you have any suggestions or need help with something, post in the comments below.

If you're running a server with this datapack and want to share it, comment the IP/URL below or PM me and I'll add it to a server list here.

NOTE: NOT CURRENTLY UP TO DATE, DOES NOT WORK IN 1.18! As of yet, anyway...

If there is a player who doesn't want to see level ups or is annoyed by them, you can type in this: (/scoreboard players set puttheplayernamehere leveldisplay 1) This will stop pop ups and messages about it about to level up too.

Note: I'm working on some fixes now. Keep up to date with the most recent version! All logs will be posted here. All you need to do is delete the previous version and put the new one in, it won't break anything.

MC-1.16 RPG-3.7 : by SugarCaneFarmer 04/11/2021 8:02:18 pmApril 12, 2021 @ 12:02 am UTC

This update I added some more options. Do /function spegtunerpg:configtext to change it:

- Added options to the config to change EXP rate for all of the skills. Options for 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 10x EXP.
- Added options to the config to disable Wizardry granting passive Minecraft XP.

If you update to the latest verion (which I just updated) it shouldn't do it anymore. If it's still on your world, turn on cheats and type [/scoreboard objectives setdisplay list] and it will clear it!

Is there a way to disable the random (enchanting) experience gain?

Know it's been long, but you can now disable it in the latest update.

I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but you might want to check why hoes activate the 'Critical Hit' ability that to my knowledge is reserved for the sword.

A few things seem to be broken. Even before I had leveled up any skills I got resistance, blood rage, and random luck.

love this datapack! a bit of confusion though. when a friend casts the spell that summons 3 guardians with a pufferfish, are the guardians intended to still be hostile to everyone? they attacked everyone so it seemed almost pointless to even use the spell.

yeah, I couldn't get them to not attack the player. There isn't really a way to stop it, so it's more of a pvp escape tool where you can drop them quickly then hope they attack someone else
