    you can compress sticks for more storage space and fuel (smelting power of charcoal)

    well you cant craft it back you said so storage space isnt true

    Yeah, unfortunately that doesnt work with datapcks. I originally made it for a server of my friends and I though.

    You could try detecting if the item is in one of the player crafting slots and then remove the item and give back the sticks.
