[The Walking Dead]
Hej!
This datapack based on the TV Series "The Walking Dead" and "Fear The Walking Dead!
You can bitten and infected by a 'Walker'.

If you infected, you have 6 minutes to cure the infection.
You can cure yourself by using a weakness potion and eating a golden apple!
If you do not heal yourself, you will go through 3 stages.
Stages
Stage 1:
-Reduced mining speed

Stage 2:
-
 Slowness

Stage 3:
- Blindness
- Poison


Stage 4:
- Death.
- You spawn your own walker with your name + spawning 4 'normal' walkers with a 50/50 chance to spawn one zombie per hit.

Its a great datapack, it is also fun to play with especially combined with the Lost Cities mod and Tissou's Zombie Resource pack because then it feels a lot like a zombie apocalypse. Some feedback though that i think could be changed, when a player dies, the zombies that spawn should not be named "Walker" since regular zombies are not even though they are the same creature, so it would be more consistent if they dont have a name. Also the zombie villager that spawns when a player is killed by walkers should keep its name, but the name could be white instead of green since thats how player names are, so it seems more like its the player in a zombie form.



Also what if the walkers could break through glass? They would need to stand at the glass for like 10 seconds like with a door and then it breaks. And maybe they would go to places where they hear sounds too like in the Walking Dead? These are just my suggestions, if you dont want to add them then dont.

Hello,

when i use this datapack into my 1.16.5 server, i got a error and the datapack is not funtional.

Here is the error:



Couldn't get pack info for: net.minecraft.server.v1_16_R3.ResourceNotFoundException: 'pack.mcmeta' in ResourcePack '.\world\datapacks\walkingdead.zip'

Hey! I really like this but I have a few suggestions:



Maybe add a option (on by default) that zombies don't attack villages/'settlements' until there is a certain amount of them, maybe like 10-15, and maybe %10 chance that they attack in a larger group, like maybe 30-40. Thanks!!

Hey dude, there's a little problem with instant respawn gamerule, when you die, walker spawns at your spawnpoint/bed
